Pair of Louis XVI Giltwood Consoles
Last quarter 18th century, in the manner of Georges Jacob
Each Spanish brocatelle marble bowed top above a guilloche-carved conforming frieze on chandelle-carved voluted supports continuing to long leaf-carved legs joined by a guilloche- and entrelac-carved bowed stretcher with flaming urn finial and raised on paw feet. Height 34 3/4 inches (88.3 cm), width 34 1/2 inches (87.7 cm), depth 14 1/2 inches (36.8 cm).
