The galleried rectangular breche d'Alep marble top above a frieze drawer and a fall opening to a leather-lined writing surface and a shelf above drawers, all over a pair of doors opening to a shelf over a drawer, the canted sides continuing to rounded feet. Height 59 inches (150 cm), width 37 inches (94 cm), depth 16 inches (40.6 cm).

Poor condition, lacking keys for quatrefoil locks, some mounts later gilded, lacking some mounts, loose mounts in frieze drawers, old marks and scratches, age cracks to fall; left side foliate mount present but now in drawer, top back mount of right side present but in drawer, age cracks to fall front, cupboard doors and sides, lifting and age cracks to veneers, some mounts regilded/cleaned.
