Very old varnish layer; difficult to read through under UV light. Conjoined panel, with a thin line of restoration running along the join, about 5 inches above the lower edge. Some restoration to the hair of the young man in the foreground; the contour of the leg of man at left has been reinforced. A few touches of restoration elsewhere.
