there has been professional restoration to the figure's right foot at the ankle area, including two nail pins; there is a small nick (indentation) to the figure's left shoulder area on the reverse side; there is unevenness to the patina, apparently caused by cleaning, handling, etc.; some of the rubbing/wear is extensive; the marble base may be a later replacement; it appears to be in generally good condition and is lined with cork on the underside; the screw that secures the figure to the marble base is loose and consequently, the figure can now be rotated; the screw should be tightened to stop this movement
