Shade: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; no apparent hairline cracks, flake losses, rim chips etc.; there are some very minor scuffs to the exterior side of the shade, not of any consequence; the metal ring collar mount is a bit loose; inner rim diameter is 3 3/4 inches; shade is signed HANDEL 7112 PAL; ring mount on fitter rim is stamped HANDEL PAT'D NO. 979664
Base: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; it is fitted with three light sockets; the sockets and three pull chains (with ball terminals) appear to be old and original; the patina or finish is in generally good condition, however, there is some flaking and loss to the finish in some areas, most notably to the bottom area, including the feet; there is wear tot he knob finial on the metal cap; the lamp has been rewired with a fabric cord; the light sockets and wiring were not tested; the on/off pull chains seem to be in good working condition; the base is not marked Handel; the underside is exposed, i.e., hollow and open, so it is possible a base plate is now missing
