each porcelain body appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; each body now has a uniform allover network of fine crazing to its glaze; each body has a drill hole at its bottom center for wiring; each lamp is currently wired, however, neither lamp was tested; the plugs are European (one lamp has three thin round prongs; the other lamp has three flat rectangular prongs); the light socket is small and is for European bulbs (will need to be substituted for use with traditional type bulbs); wear and dulling to gilding on metal mounts; the mounts on one lamp are now rather loose and will need to be tightened; the upper mounts or collars on both lamps are loose, i.e., not secured in any way; lamps were not blacklighted
