each appears to be in generally good condition; one of the shallow bowl-shaped plates has a discolored hairline fracture; none of the articles appear to have any rim chips or cracks; there are some surface scratches; there are plates that have paint flake losses to their centers; the set of flat plates all depict a different species of bird and is titled; the bowl-shaped examples depict birds or other scenes; not all are titled; the sauce tureen has an affixed stand; the sauce tureen appears to be in undamaged condition, including the handles, rim edges and cover except for a small nick to the lower rim edge of the finial on the cover; there is some loss to the gilding, most notably, to the tip rim edge where the sauce ladle would be kept; not blacklighted; age: 19th century
