appears to be in generally good condition; the exterior has been coated with a layer of shellac or lacquer, which is now dry and flaking off in scattered areas; on the interior side there is no liner, however, there is a removable dome-shaped wire mesh that allows the tureen to function as a covered ice bucket/cooler; the copper body is now beginning to show through notably along the 'ribbed' areas; unmarked
