Slight lean and fade to spine, a sound copy. BAL 7598; The Weal-Reaf. A Record of the Essex Institute Fair, Held at Salem, Sept. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, with Two Supplementary Numbers, Sept. 10, 11, 1860. Title leaf, advertiser and seven parts loose parts folded and uncut as issued, housed in a morocco backed slipcase. 8 1/2 x 7 inches. Includes a letter from Hawthorne on pages 14 and 24. A fine set with only minor chipping and toning to the top sheet. BAL 7623; and The Marble Faun, or, The Romance of Monte Beni. Boston: Ticknor and Fields, 1860. First American edition, the ads dated March 1860. Two volumes. Publisher's cloth, housed in a morocco backed slipcase. A very fine set. BAL 7621
