Approximately 25 various editions of works by Twain, including: The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County, and Other Sketches, an 1869 edition in full morocco and with William Safire's booklabel; A Tramp Abroad, 1880, first edition, three-quarters red morocco, with W.S. booklabel; The Gilded Age, later printing in contemporary three-quarters red morocco gilt; Roughing It, 1872, first edition, three-quarters red morocco gilt, with W.S. booklabel; The Innocents Abroad, 1869, first edition, three-quarters morocco gilt, cover detached; The American Claimant, 1892, first edition, three-quarters red morocco gilt, with W.S. booklabel; the Norman Rockwell illustrated 1936 Heritage Press edition of Tom Sawyer in three-quarters red morocco gilt; and others in cloth such as Following the Equator, Pudd'nhead Wilson, London, 1894, first English edition; and about 10 hardcover and wrappered books and ephemera about Twain. The first editions not fully collated for points, several with wear and markings, the lot sold as is.
