Publisher's binding black cloth gilt, the front cover with Gaige's emblem, top edge gilt. 8 7/8 x 5 7/8 inches (22.5 x 15 mm); 333 pp. Upper cover detached and losses to spine tips, worthy of repair, bookplate and ink signature of Oliver Safir, booklabel of his son William Safire.
Woolf's character Orlando is presumed to be based on Vita Sackville-West. Kirkpatrick A11.
