George Jones Majolica Turquoise-Ground Oval Game-Pie Dish and Cover

Impressed small cyphers, black painted shape no. 2262/R to bowl and B. to cover
The domed cover molded with a fox crouched over a game-bird on a bed of ferns, the tapering cylindrical tureen side with suspended net swags alternating with hunting trophies, within yellow corded rims. Height 7 3/4 inches, width 11 1/2 inches.
