Generally good condition overall; the underside with deterioration to felt bottom; small veneer patches, including one to reverse of cover with demilune of a differing colour; one end panel with small gouge marks to panel; interior of cover with inscription, but difficult to read other than date 1793; the interior with foil lining; the interior cover now slightly warped and split showing to underside
