Publisher's brown cloth. 7 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches (19 x 12 cm); xii, 171, [1] pp. A bright copy with minimal wear; Together with BANERJI, PARESH. Hand-Book of Snake Bite. Mihijam: P. Banerji, 1929. Three-quarters brown calf. 8 1/4 x 5 inches (21 x 13 cm); xii, 430 pp., color plates. Fine condition.
The first work is a scholarly discussion of the mode of toxicity in various venoms. The second is an interesting promotional piece (with some discussion of various toxins) for an anti-venom called "Lexin," manufactured by the author, with a thousand-plus detailed and rather fervent testimonials. Both works are scarce.
