Publisher's brick cloth pictorially gilt. 8 x 5 3/8 inches (20 x 14 cm); xii, 322, [2] pp. ads; with 5 maps prepared by the U.S. Coast Survey Bureau, and plates after the drawings of the author. Binding rubbed, endpapers starting to crack at the hinges.
A second voyage of Bishop's, who previously accomplished a similar effort in a large paper-hulled canoe. This time, he used a Barnegat sneak-box, a wildfowl gunning punt. Bruns B164; Coleman 3316; Thomson 3071.
