ZINNEMANN, FRED (1907-1997) Untitled [Wall Street #2],
1932. Toned vintage gelatin silver print, 9 1/4 x 5 inches (235 x 125 mm), the verso with the Estate of Fred Zinnemann notation in ink, signed by Tim Zinnemann. Traces of dry mounting adhesive on rear of image.
A remarkable photograph by the Austrian-born photographer, who emigrated to the US in 1929. He later became a successful movie director, winning an Oscar. We trace only one example of this image at auction.
