BOURKE-WHITE, MARGARET (1904-1971) Group of three images.
Comprises [Child with her Old Doll], 1940s. Gelatin silver print, 13 x 10 inches (335 x 257 mm), mounted to card, cropping notations on mount for Camera Annual No. 6. Some wear; Hindu Temple, Trichinopoly, South India. Gelatin silver print on card mount, image 13 12 x 9 1/2 inches (344 x 245), titled and annotated on the reverse (noted as for U.S. Camera 1948, page 191); and Red October Rolling Mill at Stalingrad, Iron Puddler, 1930, printed 1956. Gelatin silver print, 19 3/8 x 14 inches (495 x 255 mm), verso with the Life Photo by Margaret Bourke-White stamp and with the title and fairly extensive annotations about the subject in ink by Bourke-White, cropping annotations on the margin recto, probably also for a photo annual.
