[STEREOGRAPHY] HOLMES, BURTON--ed. A Trip around the world through the Telebinocular.
Meadville: Keystone View Company, [1923]. Second edition. Consists of one book and five book-form boxes. The book is bound in maroon cloth with black leather over spine and corners. 7 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches; 321, [1], ix pp., portrait frontispiece after photograph, pamphlet titled "Locating Maps for Use With A Trip Around The World" held in a pouch at the rear endpaper consisting of 1 pp. of map explanations and three folded maps. Book-form boxes are made of black cloth over card, with gilt black leather "spines." Box 1: titled Vol. I and Vol. II on the spine; this contains 104 stereoviews; Box 2: titled Vol. III and Vol. IV on the spine; with 89 stereoviews; Box 3: titled Vol. IV and Vol. V with 105 stereoviews; Box 4 titled Vol. V and Vol. VI with 104 views; Box 5 titled "Telebinocular. Vol and I Vol. II (with stereoviewer and two printed paper cards illustrating the stereoscopic effect). Rubbing and wear to book, especially around spine and at corners, slight spine lean, text block a bit loose, moderate wear to boxes with rubbing to leather at "spines" and a few areas of fraying to cloth, stereocards curved as usual, stereoviewer box a bit more worn than the others with staining to cloth.
