Group of Four American Sterling Silver Card Cases
Various makers, last half 19th century
Comprising two examples marked Gorham Mfg. Co., one shaped rectangular with engraved ferns, the other with tied flowering branches, heights 3 1/2 inches and 3 3/4 inches, respectively; one with Trinity Church, New York in relief to front and a maiden and swan to reverse, height 3 1/2 inches; and one marked Albert Cole, New York, shaped rectangular with engine turned design, height 3 1/2 inches, total approximately 5 ounces.

Gorham wreath - clearly hallmarked; good detail to decoration; engraved Gothic monogram "CMH"; the point of cover with bruises
Trinity church - apparently only marked "Sterling"; generally good condition overall; some small pin point dents to edges; with ring added under hinge
Albert Cole - good condition overall; clearly hallmarked; good detail to decoration; engraved "EJW" to cartouche; slight impact to one top cover
