Probably Giovanni Adrea Macelli, Rome, circa 1830
The hinged cover mounted with micromosaic panel depicting the Arch of Constantine and Forum in Rome, in a fitted silk-lined case, with a handwritten note reading: Once the property of Nicholas Biddle or Judge Craig Biddle. Height 3/4 inch, width 3 1/4 inches, depth 2 1/4 inches.

Purportedly from Andalusia, the Biddle Family Seat.
