New York: Collins & Co.,1811. First edition. Leather backed boards. 7 x 4 1/4 inches (17 x 11 cm); 112 pp,. two engraved plates, inserted plan, in text illustration. The spine repaired preserving much of backstrip, the boards heavily rubbed, lightly spotted, ink signature of John Simmons to title.

This is the first American book on merino sheep, first introduced in the United States in 1802 and highly valued at the time of this publication.
