By no means institutionally rare, this is an uncommon book in commerce, and it is the first substantial history of Spain in English, with an important mention of Columbus on p. 918, and with a description of the Spanish voyages to the New World in chapters 24 and 25. Grimeston made substantial additions to the book to cover the defeat of the Spanish Armada etc. ESTC S114485.
