Two volumes, original blind-stamped grey-blue cloth, pale yellow endpapers, housed in a modern slipcase. 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches (22 x 14 cm); xxviii, 545, [1] pp.; illustrated with two folding maps and twelve lithographic plates, folding leaves of classical Greek inscriptions printed typographically. Spines faded as usual, pale stain to the upper cover of the first volume, a few spots of foxing but generally a clean example; and SCOTT-STEVENSON, [E.S.], Mrs. Our Ride through Asia Minor. London: Chapman and Hall, 1881. First edition. Publisher's bright green cloth with upper cover stamped in black, housed in modern slipcase. 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches (22 x 14 cm); xx, 400 pp., 32 pp. ads; folding map. Very light wear, corners a trifle bumped, in all an exceptional copy.

The first work is Atabey 552; Blackmer 779; the second Blackmer 1516.
