London: T. Becket and P. A. De Hondt, 1770. First edition, edited by David Hume. Later gilt dark blue calf spine and corners, marbled paper boards. viii, 424, [8] pp., with 10 engraved folding maps. Rubbing and fading to spine, corners and edges, text block sits a bit loosely in the binding but is sound, contents lightly toned with intermittent spotting, some folding maps with repaired tears and reinforced folds.
