Publisher's cloth, in original dust jacket with "first edition" stated and retaining $2.75 price. 8 x 5 1/4 inches; 619 pp. The jacket spine slightly faded and with nicks mid-spine and to tips and extremities, small loss to corner of upper panel, the edge, evidence of olf dampstain at rear, spotting to edges.

Steinbeck's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the Great Depression, in an unrestored example of the colorful dust jacket. Goldstone and Payne A12a.
