French Porcelain Oeil-de-Perdrix Ground Cream-Jug and a Sèvres Saucer Dish
The jug early 19th century, iron-red stenciled mark to the jug, blue interlaced L's mark enclosing the date letter P, gilder's K and incised 2 to the saucer
Of pear shape with sparrow beak spout and loop handle, painted with a single cornflower blossom within a gilt cartouche reserved on a blue and red dot patterned ground, the lower register with a gilt vine; the saucer similarly gilt, within a dentil rim. Height of cream jug 2 inches (5 cm), diameter of saucer 5 1/2 inches (14 cm).
