Maker's mark indistinct, Moscow, 1899-1908
Rectangular, the hinged cover enameled with two love birds on a branch at the water's edge, amid flowers and foliage, on a gilt-stippled ground, the sides and reverse enameled with varicolored flowers and scrolling foliage, all within white pellet borders. Length 3 3/4 inches (9.53 cm).
