From a set of twelve plates created for Martini & Rossi, circa 1955
Design no.'s 1-10, each lithographically printed in black and gilt with details and images of items in the Pessione Museum, variously titled Skyphos, Carro Vinario, Grande Mortaio Bronzeo, Servizio per Porto in Argento, Rhyton, Oinoche, Grande Torchio Vinario Latino, Alambicco per la Distillazione dell' Alcool, Il Primo Tino, and Anfora Spagnuola detta Porron, each with company stamp mark and design number on the reverse. Diameter 9 1/4 inches.

Each appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; no apparent rim chips, hairline cracks, stain discoloration, etc.; there is evidence of rubbing and wear to some of the decoration and gilding on the plate centers, commensurate with age and use; some plates have some roughness on the underside caused by particles in the making, not of any real consequence.
