Four mounted gelatin silver prints on raised platforms on a black card mount, each image 2 x 1 5/8 inches (51 x 42 mm), signed recto on card mount (l.r.), numbered 1 from the edition of 10 on the black card (likely fewer completed), overall size (including mount) 9 5/8 x 12 5/8 inches (245 x 322 mm). A fine example. Framed.
One of Metzger's most remarkable innovations, his composites have a level of abstraction and a sculptural quality unlike any of his other photography.
