Group of American Arts & Crafts Etched and Patinated Metal and Green Slag Glass Articles
Attributed to Riviere Brass & Bronze Works, circa 1904-31
Comprising a table lamp, with a triangular swivel shade, unsigned, height 17 3/4 inches; and a pair of candlesticks, each of square columnar form, decorated with silvered filigree metal leaf and vine motifs, unsigned, height of taller 7 3/4 inches.

Additional Notes & Condition Report

Lamp: appears to be in generally good, used condition; each of the three slag glass panels appear to be in generally good, undamaged condition; the shade does not appear to be signed; the electric light socket is marked HUBBELL and appears to be old and original; the pull chain also appears to be old and original and has an acorn terminal; typical wear and dulling to the patina, consistent with age and usage, as well as some scattered mildew spots; the lamp is currently wired, however, the socket and wiring were not tested; the lamp appears to be missing its original base plate; the underplate is covered with felt fabric

Candlesticks: there appears to be an area of small damage and loss to one of the vertical slag glass panels on the shaft of one of the candlesticks, with a small area of corresponding damage to the etched metal in this location, partially obscured by wax residue on the interior side of the shaft; all of the other glass panels, including the triangular-shaped panels on the bottom appear to be in generally good, undamaged condition; one or more of the triangular slag glass panels on the bottom may be later replacements; there is typical wear and rubbing to the original patina, consistent with age and usage; each candlestick sits nice and straight on a table surface; each candlestick appears to retain all four of its original bun feet; no apparent stamp mark or signature
