Circa 1925
Of oversize chalice form, designed as a blossoming thistle, in two parts, with a bowl in amber colored glass, internally decorated with silver foil inclusions, raised on a green colored base with Celtic knot ring above a thistle blossom and leaf decorated foot, inscribed around the base A. J. MATRAY DIRECTEUR DE BANQUE DE FRANCE DE ADMISTRATEUR CENSEURS ET AMIS 1925, signed DAUM NANCY. Height 13 7/8 inches.
