Additional Notes & Condition Report
appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; there is what appears to be a plug or filled in area, located at the bottom center of the vase, of the type that is usually found when a vase has been infilled or plugged after it has been previously drilled for wiring and use as a lamp, however, in this instance, there is no evidence of infilling or plugging when the vase is examined on the interior side, which suggests the "infill" may have been applied at the factory to strengthen or enhance the thickness of the glass body in this area; the ground and polished pontil mark area on this vase is unusually very deep and concave; the interior appears to be in generally clean condition, i.e., not water stained, clouded, etc.
