Additional Notes & Condition Report
PLEASE NOTE: Doyle cannot make any statement or representation regarding the working condition of this or any other clock in this auction. Accordingly, please assume this clock may not be in good working condition and may require the services of a professional clock restorer or person
Clock Case: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; there is some discoloration to the enameled dial, particularly in the area around the winding holes; the rear glass door is frosted and may be a later replacement; there is a clock movement inside the case; there are no obvious markings as to maker, etc., on the movement; there is a winding key present; there is no pendulum
Pair of Candelabra: each appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; the only "condition" issue noted was the small gilt-metal rosettes that decorate the upper gray colored marble part of the base, which are loose, i.e., they stay in place, however, if the candelabrum is held sideways they can drop out; currently, all of these rosettes are present
Any condition statement is given as a courtesy to a client, is an opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact and Doyle New York shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. Please contact the specialist department to request further information or additional images that may be available.
