Clock Case: there are two open small holes located in the horizontal metal band that divides the cover and urn body of the finial, indicating the loss and absence of metal decorative elements; the glass protective cover over the dial has a crack; extensive wear and dulling to the gilding on the metal mounts, commensurate with age and handling; the porcelain elements appear to be in generally good undamaged condition; there is a loss to a part of the acanthus leaf that flanks and protrudes from the right side of the oval porcelain medallion at the bottom center of the clock case; bottom; retains a pendulum; no winding key; rear door functions properly; no apparent or visible maker's name or retailer's name
