[FORE-EDGE PAINTINGS] Group of fourteen volumes, all with fine concealed fore-edge paintings.
Leather bindings, gilt or gilt and blind. Each fore-edge concealed under gilt, the largest volume 9 3/8 x 6 1/4 inches (24.5 x 16 cm); various paginations. Joint defects on three or four volumes, light to moderate wear.
The fore-edges include an example of a split fore-edge, a portrait fore-edge of Burns, and some very well-painted examples of single fore-edges.
