About 23 engravings from various editions of Ogilby's America: Being the Latest, and Most Accurate Description of the New World. [London: circa 1671-1676]. All engravings uncolored with central fold, measuring roughly 11 x 14 in (28 x 36 cm) to the neatline but most with wider margins.Some toned, spotted, repaired, or with short tears or edgewear, sometimes into the images, the lot sold with all faults.

Includes naval and countryside views of St. Martin, Lima, Tamarca, Mauritiopolis (Mauritzstad), Nassau, Boavista, Prince William's, Alagoa, Calvi, Siara, Truxillo, Paraybae, Cusco, Potosi, Salvador, Porto Rico, New Carthage, Acapulco, and many other Latinized city names across the South American and Carribean coasts.
