[New York:] 1830. Translated from the Spanish by Ferdinand Bayer. Disbound. 7 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches (19 x 11 cm); woodcut frontispiece, vignette to title, 36 pp. Chip to frontis touching border, else fine.

A scarce volume reporting (and showing on the title) how Nicholas Fernandez and others "were sentenced ... to be hung, quartered and their heads to be placed on hooks on the sea shore" (p. 21). We trace no copy at auction in over 20 years.
