Philadelphia: Kimber & Richardson, 1812. First edition, second issue, with an addditional line in gathering "H". Period tree calf. 8 1/8 x 4 7/8 inches (20.75 x 12.5 cm); [iii]-367, [1], 4 pp. ads. Rebacked retaining original spine, corners of boards abraded, edge of title page a bit frayed, restored loss to about an inch of the head of the title, somewhat toned throughout. Bookplates of the great Philadelphia physician and author Silas Weir Mitchell and of the collector Otto Oren Fisher.
