[Washington: 1803]. Original wrappers, with the title page bound at end reading The Laws of the United States of America. Volume XI. Published by Authority. Washington City. 1803. 9 x 6 inches (23 x 15 cm); [2], [195]-316, iv, lxxxv, xxvi, [1-title]. The spine lacking and the covers just holding, uncut and with some frayed edges, contemporary ink notations to cover, an unsophisticated example.

Acts passed in the second session of the 7th Congress during the presidency of Thomas Jefferson. The laws are diverse and include an act providing for the execution of the laws of the United States within the State of Ohio, provisions for persons disabled by battle wounds during the American Revolution, and includes text describing the English and French Convention between the French Republic and the United States Government reprinting articles by John Adams and Joseph Bonaparte. Finally, the text of treaties between the U.S. and the Choctaw and Creek are printed. At the end of the book the title page for this volume of U.S. Laws is present.
