London: S. Fisher, [circa 1805]. Modern gilt titled calf spine, marbled paper boards. 7 x 4 inches (17.5 x 10.25 cm) 42 pp., engraved frontispiece. Minimal wear to boards and spine, closed tear to title-page, a few leaves at rear with mild foxing.

A fictitious narrative purportedly by Henry Lanson, the son of a Virginia planter. While travelling to England, he was marooned by pirates on deserted island. His adventures there included converting natives to Christianity and discovering treasure in the form of a large gold idol. A rare Robinsonade - it was most recently offered at auction in 1929 at American Art Association as per RBH, and there are no copies currently available on vialibri (as of 7/28/22).
