Pamplona [but likely Seville]: Por Carlos Iuan, 1646 [but 1648]. Contemporary cats paw calf, the spine tooled and lettered in gilt with raised bands and a red morocco lettering label. 8 x 6 inches (20 x 15 cm); 111 leaves, woodcut decoration. A few spots to title and prelims, very faint old dampstain affects a few leaves at front but generally a very clean copy, some minor losses to binding.

A work relating to the Franco-Spanish War published about the time of the 1648 Peace of Westphalia, a related conflict of the Thirty Years' War. Chapter IX deals with "La Conquista de las Indias."
