[CALIFORNIA] A travel album with images of California and pre-earthquake San Francisco.
Oblong album of limp faux alligator skin, overall 5 1/2 x 8 inches. The first leaf caption titled in ink at a later date "Trip taken to California by Katharine J. Edgar as guest of Granger A. Hollister about 1900." The album with approximately 92 small silver prints, each about 1 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches, mounted to the card album sheets. Some curling to the leaves and silvering to the images, minor showthrough of adhesive, well preserved overall.

A small travel album including about 92 circa 1905 photographs of California and region including: Albuquerque, Riverside, Santa Barbara, Ojai Valley, Montecito, Monterey, the University of California, Salt Lake and about 12 images of Chinatown in San Francisco.
