UNSAFE TENEMENT; BILLINGSGATE (KENNEDY 17, 47; GLASGOW 18, 51)
Two etchings (the second with drypoint), 1858 and 1859, respectively, on laid paper, the first Glasgow's fourth state of four, the second Glasgow's ninth state of nine; Together with James McBey LAGUNA VENETA (HARDIE/CARTER 227), etching, 1926, on laid paper, signed and inscribed Trial Proof VI in ink, each with good or full margins, unframed.
Largest plate 7 x 14 15/16 inches; 178 x 379 mm.

Additional Notes & Condition Report

The Whistlers with lightstain and matstain, minor printer's ink in the margins, the first with some faint pressure marks and slight discoloration showing through from hinges at top sheet corners verso, a small loss at top left sheet edge, the second with brown paper tape at top sheet corners recto and three pieces at top sheet edge verso, offsetting verso, some unobtrusive handling creases and tiny spots of discoloraton discernible in the margins and verso, a small loss at right sheet edge, a 3/8 inch tear at top left sheet edge, a 1/8 inch tear at bottom sheet edge.
