Verona: [Officina Bodoni], 1965. First edition, one of 225 copies of the "Limited Private Printing" on handmade Cernobbio paper. Green morocco backed boards, the spine gilt lettered. 9 3/4 x 6 inches (24 x 15 cm); 109 pp., with facsimiles, an inserted plate and a Celtic Cross engraved by Reynolds Stone. Corners lightly rubbed, spine gently faded, clean within.

A fine Officina Bodoni printing of The Gettysburg Address, issued on the 100th anniversary of Lincoln's famous battlefield speech. The larger essay is by R. Gordon Wasson, known for his in depth studies of mushrooms. Acquired from Ursus Rare Books.
