Four Gothic Revival Carved Rosewood Chairs
Possibly Alexander Roux, New York, circa 1850
Comprising two armchairs and two side chairs, the peaked crest centering a shield with the letter "A" above foliate carving, the armchairs with padded arms on faceted supports, bowed front seat rails and turned legs. Height of armchair 54 1/4 inches, width 25 3/4 inches, depth of seat 22 1/2 inches.
