Numerous areas of repair and inpainting can be seen under UV light. There is an area of inpainting at the stern of the boat, in the sky behind the foremast, and along the top edge and the upper right corner. Craquelure is present in whites. the work is wax relined and the surface is stable though it could would benefit from a light cleaning.
