JONG, ERICA. Three early paperback editions of poetry, as issued in the publisher's slipcase
Comprising: Fruits & Vegetables; Half-Lives; [and] Loveroot. New York: Holt, Rinehard and Winston, 1971, 1973, and 1975. First editions, Fruits & Vegetables is signed and inscribed by Jong. Paperbacks, all three in the publisher's slipcase. 8 1/8 x 5 1/4 inches (20.75 x 13.5 cm). Varying amounts of rubbing and wear to wrappers mostly at spines and corners, slipcase with some rubbing and wear along edges, and with one side lightly faded, publisher's prospectus laid in to slipcase. A slipcased paperback edition of Erica Jong's first three books of poetry, one of which is inscribed. The first two of these were published before Jong achieved literary fame with her classic novel, Fear of Flying, and the third book came out shortly afterwards.
