Publisher's pictorial green cloth, stamped in black and white. 7 1/2 x 5 inches (19.5 x 12.5 cm); [8], 413 pp., 3 pp. publisher's ads at rear. Cloth worn, corners bumped, hinges cracked, contents a bit dulled with a few spots of staining and soiling, bookplate of George Sylvester Viereck, booksellers label of Wilshire Book Co., Ex libris ink stamp of Carl E. H. Greab M.D.
A signed copy of Upton Sinclair's classic political novel, from the self-published sustainer's edition. This issue was published simultaneously to the Doubleday edition, and though text is printed from the same plates it has a different title-page bearing The Jungle Publishing Co. imprint, and the Socialist Party logo is embossed on its front board.
