Manuscript map in ink and colors on paper, with "A true copy from the original New York Dec 8th 1828, Geo. B Smith City Surveyor" in ink at lower right. The map is backed. 26 x 33 inches (66 x 84 cm). Losses and abrasions, dust soiling, later markings within the image.

A copy after Casimir Goerck showing the 1790 layout of blocks near New York Hospital, here depicted as a pink rooftop. Barley Street was renamed Duane and Catherine renamed Anthony and eventually Worth Street, both after 1800. Together with [BANCKER, GEORGE]. Broad Way with a view of New York Hospital. 1772 copied 1822. 21 x 18 inches (53 x 46 cm). the map is backed. Tears and losses.
