One of 500 sets, this numbered 414. 64 volumes, three-quarters burgundy morocco, marbled paper sides, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. 8 3/4 x 6 inches (22.35 x 15 cm); various paginations; the plates on Japon. Spines very slightly faded, a few slightly rubbed headcaps etc., minor wear, in all a bright copy and attractive set.
A desirable edition of Dickens. With J. N. Bartfield.
